Steel Counter Doors
Overhead Door Corporation's non-rated counter doors are ideal for such applications as concession areas, cafeterias, pharmacies, parts-storage areas and ticket windows. Curtains consist of interlocking, flat-profile aluminum, steel or stainless steel slats. Manual push-up operation is standard, with optional crank or motor drive. Slide bolt locks are provided, with cylinder locks optional. All counter doors except integral-frame doors can be mounted to the face of the wall or between jambs.
Integral Frame & Sill Counter Doors
The #655, 656, 657 and 658 Series combine an attractive finished appearance with the convenience of a factory-assemble d unit. These non-rated feature a high-quality 16-gauge steel or stainless steel frame, hood and fascia complemented by a 14-gauge sill. Available to fit openings up to 9' wide and 4' high (2743mm and 1219mm), these rolling counter doors have a variety of applications, including food service areas.
Metal Counter Doors
The 650, 651 & 652 Series offer a range of slat finishes including galvanized, painted steel slats, #4 finish stainless steel slats and extruded aluminum slats with a clear anodized finish.
Wood Counter Doors
665 Series counter doors are constructed of fine-quality wood and are ideal for hotels, banks, libraries, restaurants and colleges - wherever wood is desired to compliment the interior.
Red oak is standard, with many other wood types of custom materials optionally available.
Fire Counter Doors
Overhead Door Corporation can accommodate virtually any commercial or industrial project requiring a listed fire door assembly for the passage of goods and materials in a rated fire wall, in both masonry and non-masonary applications. Available listings include Underwriters Laboratories 4-hour, 3-hour and 1 1/2 hour labels; Factory Mutual 3-hour and 1 1/2 hour labels; Underwriters Laboratories Canada 3-hour label; and New York City (MEA) and California Fire Marshal's Approval.
Fire-rated doors are available for both vehicular traffic and counter door applications. To comply with NFPA 80, doors are equipped with a fusible link, on both sides of the wall, that automatically releases to close the door at 165 Degrees Fahrenheit, and with a governor that controls the rate of descent. Operation and auto close mechanisms are Factory Mutual tested and approved.
Standard mounting for all fire doors is face-of-wall, with between-jambs mounting optionally available. Upward-expanding guide assemblies allow the door guides to be in contact with the floor, providing a more secure flame barrier and an attractive finished appearance.
Options include UL-listed FireLite ceramic vision panels and UL-listed brush seals for applications that require smoke retardation.
